For Logan & Landon

I've been trying to decide all week what to send the new babies... Finally, I've decided that I'm going to resort to one of my favorite baby gifts of all time - these adorable "buddy blankets" from Bunnies by the Bay. They are so soft and have been a big hit with my niece Ella (she's got both Lilbit the pink bunny and Tadbit the green frog) and little Madden (we just sent him Skipit the dog). And while there are many, many places you can find these little guys, my favorite place to pick them up is Sandcastle Monogramming and Gifts on Balboa Island in Newport (California, not Rhode Island) because they will embroider them with the baby's name and birthdate for free. I think the personalization is a nice touch. Now I just have to decide between the dog, the frog, and the duck!

Double Trouble

It seems babies are everywhere lately! My cousin delivered twin boys on Friday. Welcome to the family, Logan and Landon! And congrats Krista, Justin, and Maddy - they're beautiful! Can't wait to meet them in April!

And the countdown begins!

Exactly one month from today, I will be sitting here on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman... sunning all of my troubles away!

If you like buffalo wings...

...then you're gonna love this dip! Super Bowl is just around the corner and I guarantee that I'll be whipping up a batch of this dip to snack on while watching the big game (and hopefully cheering the Pats on to victory!)

Buffalo Chicken Dip

1 lb. boneless chicken breasts or tenders, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup Frank's RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing
1 cup shredded cheese (we like a blend of cheddar and monterey jack)

Season chicken with salt, pepper, or whatever you prefer (we use fajita seasoning) and cook in skillet on your stovetop until cooked through. In large bowl stir together chicken, cream cheese, Buffalo Wing Sauce, blue cheese dressing and 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Mix well. Transfer mixture to a 9-inch pie plate or casserole dish and top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Serve warm with tortilla chips and maybe even some celery!
